My wife takes a daily biotin supplement which makes a difference in the long term. Her nails are stronger and less prone to breaking, skin is more supple and her hair appears thicker and more healthy looking. This one contains various additional vitamins and minerals and comes in a pleasant tasting coconut flavoured tablet which is small and easy to swallow. There are 60 tablets in the flat pack and the recommended dose is one a day so they will last 2 months. Reasonable value at £16.
I began taking skin, nail and hair supplements at the onset of menopause because I noticed that my nails and hair in particular had changed texture. These supplements are smooth coated and are easy to take with no aftertaste or repetition. They do smell strongly of coconut, and to be honest I'm not quite sure why it's there because you swallow these and don't chew them, however it is a very pleasant smell and once swallowed it doesn't repeat. At one-a-day you get 2 months' supply in the pouch, which should be enough time to be able to assess if they are helping you or not. I am feeling very positive about them and I definitely feel like they are helping me, especially as I have not had a break in between these and other supplements taken before starting. They are reasonably priced and the list of ingredients is quite impressive, as well as the fact that they are vegan, they're manufactured in the UK, and they're packaged using recyclable materials.
These are 2 months supply of vitamins for £20 which are claiming to be helpful to your skin, nails and hair. They are marketed with the main being hylauronic ingredients but there is a host more of other vitamins within these. This makes them a multivitamin supplement which does have a wide range, you have to be careful if you are taking other supplements as you may inadvertently take more in a day than you wish to. I haven’t had any adverse effects affects after taking for 3 weeks and I can deal with the coconut aroma, it’s false and unnecessary in my opinion. They were easy to swallow and the size didn’t make them difficult to get down. They seem good quality and the packaging is very professional.
